SS17: the podium changes in the Xion Rally Argentina 2019
Kris Meeke (Toyota Yaris WRC) achieves his goal and got back to the third position in the overall. Toyota Gazoo Racing’s driver got an advantage of 5s7/10 over Sébastien Ogier (Citroën C3 WRC) moving him away from the podium. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20), is becoming more and more comfortable in the leading position of the race. He was the winner of the Guilio Césare stage.
No doubts it’s being a great Sunday to the Toyota Gazzo Racing in Córdoba’s hills. WRC Yaris feel comfortable in these lunar landscapes and they are having a great performance. Meeke had no trouble getting back the 10 seconds of penalization given two him on the second day. Before getting to the Power Stage he has a major advantage over Ogier who is still having some problems with his Citroën performance.
Jari Matti Latvala (Toyota Yaris WRC) got the second place in the stage, and he is n the Top Five o the overall, leaving Daniel Sordo (Hyundai i20 WRC) in the sixth place.
At the leading position, Neuville rules comfortably. After getting his fourth Scratch of the weekend, now has an advantage of forty seconds over his runner-up Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai i20 WRC).
